Small but Mighty
If you know Lila Slaton, you’re already on board with her “I’ll-do-it-my-damn-self-thank-you-very-much” tendencies. You know she’s a HUGE force in a pretty tiny package. She shows us over and over again that we should never limit our expectations of what she can do because she’ll prove us wrong with a smile if we ever dare to… She’s a small spark (physically) but the fire she lights on her path and in our hearts is definitely mighty.
Please consider making a donation to our team in Lila’s honor. Down Syndrome of Louisville does amazing, unflagging work for her and hundreds of other families every day. We love them. Just click that big blue "DONATE NOW" button on the upper right. THANK YOU!
EVENT DEETS IF YOU WANT TO JOIN THE RUN/WALK:
2018 Down Syndrome of Louisville Steps to Independence Walk and 5K Run
September 29th at The Big Four Lawn, Waterfront Park
5K Run will start 8:00 A.M.
Family Walk at 9:30 A.M
Join Lila and team Small but Mighty Saturday, September 29 at the Steps to Independence Walk and 5K Run. (We'll be at the Family Walk.) The event is a blast—a 5k for runners, a romp around Waterfront Park for walkers and a mini-festival with show-stopping dancing from the Boogie Down Crew—and it all benefits Down Syndrome of Louisville.
